The SWINCAR e-Spider is a four-wheel drive electric vehicle capable of operating across a wide variety of terrains.
Designed and manufactured in France, it stands out radically from all other vehicles on the market as a result of its exclusive patented pendulum design, which tilts as the vehicle turns and ascends or descends slopes.
The friendly to use controls grouped around the steering wheel make driving easy. The SWINCAR e-Spider is controlled using hands only, making it very accessible, even to persons of reduced mobility.
The SWINCAR e-Spider MAGA can be driven on public roads in France and this version comes with rear lights, dipping headlights, turn signals, horn, parking brake, top case rack, tank and 12V socket.
The European (EU) road approval L6e-A has been obtained for the SWINCAR e-Spider one seater version. This will allow to register it and travel on all European roads.
The optional equipment includes: mud guards, mirrors, top case rack and detachable top case, safety harness, reclining rally seat, telescopic link which allows the opening of articulated legs enabling access for persons with reduced mobility (PMR ), wooden transport crate (ISPN15), SE14C packaging is available and recommended for sea freighting.

The speed of a MAGA approved agricultural vehicle is limited to a maximum of 25 km / h on the road.

The e-Spider Mobility model includes all the features of the SWINCAR e-Spider model plus the following options:
– The SWINCAR Electric off road vehicle telescopic link allows the quick opening of the articulated legs at 90 °. This allows a wheelchair to be positioned closer and eases transfer into the driver’s seat. This telescopic link can be installed on the front and / or the back, on the right or left, singly or in pairs depending on the customer’s requirements.
– A reclining rally seat with good body support and comfort.
– A safety harness that helps the driver maintain their position in the seat.

Approval
French road legal model: The Swincar e-Spider version MAGA has been approved road legal in France since July 2017 (MAGA approval Machine Automotrice Genre Agricole). It can be insured and registered.
In 2018 the French Institute of Design, sponsored by the Ministers of Industry, Trade and Foreign Trade, awarded SWINCAR the JANUS label for Industry for its SWINCAR e-Spider pendulum electric quadricycle. Terrain Spider Electric Quad Concept
Primary With the inclination controlled! Wheels and a reclining seat. Joystick tilt control. The wheels are articulated on a single pivot, which allows them to both turn and tilt. The degree of tilt of the nacelle and the wheels results from the speed
Secondary Now the cockpit pivots around a fixed axis and the tilt angle is transmitted to the wheels. Each wheel turns on a single steering and tilt pivot. The steering wheel controls both the steering and tilt.
Tertiary With pendulum balance! Only the centrifugal force causes the cockpit and wheels to tilt. Radial stress is transmitted to the wheels as they tilt automatically as a result of the vehicle weight and centrifugal forces.
Quaternary SWINCAR development: SWINCAR is a perfect example of ‘thinking outside the box’ by its inventor. It was a Eureka moment, which came to him in a flash but there were years of development work… This version was finalized in 2016.
Pascal Rambaud’s genius idea is to have designed the Swincar e-Spider using the concept of a pendulum. Combining movement science and an original construction the vehicle has a particularly low centre of gravity.
